HIIP is an online marketplace that connects brands with influencers. Based in Vietnam, HIIP was looking to raise seed fund to achieve product-market fit. The startup had already acquired some prominent customers, and user-base was snowballing. The founders worked relentlessly to make their product better and preferred spending time with their customers. While the product and business model were validated, the founders needed capital to strengthen their brand. The founders were looking for fundraising advisors to help deliver a persuasive business case through an investor pitch deck.

While the team had built a robust product, it had limited knowledge of the market and emerging trends. AlphaValley team analysed the market success factors and uncovered future-defining trends. The team also analysed peers to determine the real differentiating factors for HIIP. The findings from this analysis helped the founders finetune their product’s value proposition.
AlphaValley team was briefed about the striking features that the product offered. Yet, the story lacked the defining punch. We collaborated with the founders to discuss and reveal the vital pain points of its intended customers. These problems overlapped with some common issues that the brands (customers) faced. Our team revamped the story, combining it with facts and statistics.
The angel investor admired the pitch deck and found supporting market analysis insightful. HIIP successfully raised its Seed round. Now a part of 500 startups, HIIP closed its Series-A round in 2019.
